One of the most interesting things about our business is that we never know who might be calling or contacting us next. In fact, when you stop to think about it, there is hardly a business, organization or individual person that doesn’t use flowers in some way, be it for decorating or gift giving.

To that end, just the other day we recently received a call from set designer, Brooke Brunson, for the hit TV series Army Wives which is aired on ABC’s Lifetime channel. Brooke has been a Silkflowers.com customer for several years and told me she has decided to replace most of their costly fresh flowers with our beautiful silk flower arrangements and care-free silk plants and trees on their various sets for the show. Turns out on the TV set scene there is a lot of moving products and props about, and often there are long delays in the filming. As a result, keeping fresh flowers looking “fresh” or live plants alive was a daily challenge and so they thought of using our silk floral products instead.

Needless to say, we were ecstatic about the news! Those who are familiar with the show know that many of these sets take place in beautiful well appointed homes and having Brooke select our product as part of her decorating and accessorizing plan was quite an honor for our company.
